This 3-hour workshop will cover common uses of LabVIEW for validation and production testing plus some hands-on exercises to give attendees some experience with developing a simple LabVIEW application.

  • Part A: Acquire Vibration Data using the DAQ Assistant

  • Part B: Analyze the Signal

  • Part C: Trigger an Alarm

  • Part D: Save the Data to a File

What to expect

In this 3-hour hands-on workshop, we will:

  • Give an overview of LabVIEW and touch on some future capabilities such as GitHub integration and LabVIEW+.
  • Create a LabVIEW application for acquiring, analyzing, and archiving waveforms using demo hardware. Assistance as needed will be available from the presenter.
  • Review some representative use cases that showcase the full extent of LabVIEW’s capabilities.
